2025 marked a defining year. Alongside national touring as the new host of Infamous Circus after stepping away from a longtime role at Dracula's Cabaret, Gray undertook an ambitious creative experiment: releasing new music every full moon, in the buid up to his solo stage show, Tomi Gray's Trip.

Following its debut at the Adelaide Fringe, 'Tomi Gray's Trip' is taking its psychedelic circus of music, theatre and controlled chaos on the road, touring through Port Macquarie, Maroochydore, Townsville, Mackay and Rockhampton in 2026.. Part concert, part theatre, part feverish daydream, Tomi Gray's Trip is an immersive live experience combining original music, surreal comedy, puppetry, animation and a touch of cabaret into one wildly unpredictable performance. Described as "The Mighty Boosh colliding with The Big Lez Show, set to music," the production is steeped in Australiana, altered-state philosophy and carnivalesque grit — less a show to simply watch than one to tumble through.

Over recent years, Gray has honed his live craft across Australia and internationally, appearing at festivals including Yonder Festival (QLD), Ferrara Buskers Festival (Italy), Folklorum (Germany), Elfia (Netherlands), Mitchell Creek Blues Festival (QLD) and Wallaby Creek Festival (QLD). Whether performing solo, with the circus, fronting bands or delivering biting cabaret, his shows have become known for blurring the line between concert, theatre and beautifully orchestrated mayhem
